Fujairah CP crowns winners of 2023 UIM XCAT World Championship Fujairah Grand Prix
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the high position that the emirate of Fujairah enjoys in organising and hosting the most important marine sports competitions in the world. The picturesque waters of Fujairah bore witness to a breathtaking display of speed, precision, and rivalry.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Al Sharqi noted the support and follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for sports activities that advance the sports sector in the UAE and marine sports in particular towards the highest competitive levels.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah made his statements as he attended the 2023 UIM XCAT World Championship Fujairah Grand Prix which was held under his patronage at the Fujairah International Marine Club.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad honoured winners of the race in the presence of Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah International Marine Club, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi.
The race, marked by intense competition and unexpected turns, showcased the prowess of the British team. Team GB demonstrated their supremacy right from the start, claiming the pole position and maintaining their lead throughout the race, clinching the coveted championship title.
