Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race
Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race 2023 will run from 25th November until 1st December at Al Wathba Camel Racetrack in Abu Dhabi.
The Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race will witness the participation of thousands of camel owners from across the UAE and the GCC countries.
Organised by the UAE Camel Racing Federation under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court, the competitions will feature 214 rounds and 36 prizes.
The races will feature 10 rounds for participants aged 15 to 20. The organising committee has offered a grand prize of AED100,000 for the first-place finisher, along with substantial cash prizes for all other placings up to tenth place.
Launched in 1994, the race is one of the most important and prominent heritage and sporting events for camel fans, as well as for owners from the UAE and the GCC who will participate and compete in the race.
