Dubai has won the bid to host the 2024 edition of the World Cities Culture Summit, set to take place from 30 October to 1 November, 2024. As the first city in the MENA region to host this event, the summit will give Dubai an international platform to showcase its development in various sectors, and underscore the Emirate’s commitment to preserving its rich cultural heritage. The World Cities Culture Summit is a 3-day gathering that brings more than 140 senior leaders together from 40 member cities of the World Cities Culture Forum to share insights and the best ideas for culture in cities, underlining the role of culture as a pivotal force behind societal and economic growth. The announcement was made during the 2023 edition of the summit in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
